Halloween 2009

This year for Halloween Shane was The Incredible Hulk and Brooke was a Little Mermaid. Tina and the family came into town and went trick or treating with us and we all had a good time. We always trick or treat in Creekview and every year Elvis makes an appearance and Shane had to get his picture made with him this year. Brooke said no thanks and went about trick or treating.

RED RIBBON WEEK 2009

Every year Crandall has red ribbon week (October 19-23). They let the kids dress in different forms everyday to fight off drugs in Crandall schools. Here are pictures of red ribbon week for Shane.


Monday- Give drugs the slip...wear slippers or flip flops.
Tuesday- Team up against drugs...wear your favorite team jersey.

Wednesday- Hide from drugs...wear camo.

Thursday- Drugs are wacky, so dress tacky...wear mismatched clothes.

Friday- Scare drugs away...crazy or scary hair do's with pink pirate shirt.

State Fair 2009

On October 10th we decided to take a trip to the State Fair with Del's parents. We had so much fun and so did the kids. It was super cold though. We all wanted to try the fried butter that was new this year but the line for it was way to long and none of us felt like wasting the day waiting for it. The kids rode a couple of rides and wanted to ride more but they are getting expensive. Here are a few pictures from that day.

After we had all the fun we could stand we headed to Whataburger for dinner and headed home for the evening but Brooke couldn't get enough of those frie

Sorry for the delay in posts lately. My camera doesn't seem to want to copy the pictures to the computer. We have been so busy, September we did so much and had so much done to the house since the flood ( I will post pictures soon). So much has been going on so please bare with me and as soon as the pictures copy I will post them.
