Eye Goggles

Brooke was being silly playing with Shane's eye googles today. She put them on upside down then she got some help and this is how she looks. She is too cute.

Valentine's Assembly

Since we had a tremendous amount of snow in texas on friday before Valentine's day, Shane's assembly was rescheduled for today. He sang a couple of songs and did great. He is right in the middle in red. Brooke wanted to go up there and sing with him. Later that day he had a Valentine's party and had so much fun he didn't want to leave.

Snow Angels and a Snow Man

Shane started feeling much better today but Brooke got worse. My parents came and got Shane since Elizabeth was in town to make a snow man and snow angels. They had a blast.

Shane and Brooke have been really sick this week and of all things it snows. I didn't let them play yesterday when the snow was coming down cause their asthma was really bad, they got to look at it for a few minutes but that was it. Today both of them would not leave me alone about going outside and playing in the snow. I started to feel under the weather but I wasn't going to spoil it for them. I bundled them up and let them play in the snow for about 10 minutes or lets just say till Brooke had a coughing attack. They loved it and did not want to go in. I hope they get to see snow again one day.

White Winter

Del woke me up thursday to a white winter. I was in shock at how much snow was on the ground. I thought for sure it would be gone by the time I got home from work so I took two pictures before I left, but to my suprise it snowed all day and never let up. We got 12 inches total in 24 hours. That is a new record in Texas.

MOMMY I WANNA DRESS PLEASE

Brooke loves dresses, let me just repeat that Brooke loves dresses. It is so hard to get her to wear anything other than a pink dress. She gets so mad when you come at her with a outfit to wear that is not a dress. We went to dinner and it was pretty cold outside so I wanted her to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt. She wore the jeans and long sleeve shirt after much arguing but as soon as we got home she was trying to take her clothes off and this is what happened. She was being goofy, but she got her pink dress
