Every year the City of Balch Springs has an Employee Banquet. Its a time that all the employees get to get together and hang out and enjoy some good food. This year has been a huge change for me at work and at home. I took on a new position this year at the city, the new payroll clerk. It is very stressful cause I have never done payroll before but I wanted to try something different after the events from the beginning of the year and I wanted to make more money for my family. It has been a great change for me though, I needed it. I have learned so much this year. We really enjoyed ourselves at the banquet.
